DRAFT — KEEP UNPUBLISHED

Terms, returns and fitment policy

A practical pre-publication draft for product supply, vehicle-specific fitment and custom fabrication.

Launch hold: insert the legal business name, ABN, registered/physical address, service email, telephone, delivery areas, payment milestones, cancellation rules and approved warranty wording. Have the completed policy reviewed before this page or the shop is published.

Orders, prices and consultation fees

Website prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where stated. A product page may show a base product price while vehicle-specific fitment, freight, installation and selected accessories are quoted separately.

An order is not accepted until the product, vehicle, specification, price, delivery or installation scope and payment milestones are confirmed in writing. The paid fit-and-design consultation is limited to tray, canopy and CMC projects and is credited only where the applicable written offer says so.

Vehicle fitment and information supplied

Customers must provide accurate vehicle make, model, model year, cab/body style, wheelbase, existing modifications and intended use. Product compatibility, clearances, available payload and installation requirements must be confirmed before fabrication or installation.

Published dimensions and CAD envelopes are planning information unless the order states they are final manufacturing dimensions for the confirmed vehicle and product configuration.

Custom work, approvals and changes

Vehicle-specific and custom products may require drawings, written specifications or design approvals. The customer should check access, internal layout, service clearances and intended load before approving manufacture.

The final policy must state when a custom order becomes committed, how variations are priced and what cancellation costs may apply. Any limitation remains subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Lead times, freight and installation

Lead times are estimates until confirmed in the order. Freight, collection, installation location, vehicle availability and site requirements must be agreed in writing. Delays or changes should be communicated with a revised estimate.

The final policy must identify delivery areas, risk/title terms, inspection on receipt and the process for reporting transit damage.

Returns, faults and remedies

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, a failure may entitle a consumer to repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or compensation.

Change-of-mind returns are different from remedies for faulty goods or services. The final policy must define any voluntary change-of-mind process without misrepresenting statutory rights.

Start a claim through the contact page with the order reference, description, photographs and the remedy requested. Do not remove or repair an installed product before receiving instructions where that could affect safe assessment.

Manufacturer and workmanship warranties

Any voluntary manufacturer or workmanship warranty is additional to Australian Consumer Law rights. Warranty duration, provider, exclusions, claim contact and mandatory wording must come from the approved warranty document for the exact product or service.

Do not publish a generic duration until supplier warranties and OZ Ute Fitouts workmanship terms are reconciled.

Website information and product representation

Images may show optional accessories or configuration illustrations. Powder-coat colour can vary by screen and lighting. Product identity, finish, included items and final specification are determined by the written order.

This draft is not legal advice. Final business details and legal review are required before publication. For Australian consumer-guarantee guidance, see the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
