Delete My OZUF account
Use this page to request permanent deletion of your My OZUF customer account. You do not need to call us or use the general contact form.
Deleting your account is permanent. After deletion, you will no longer be able to sign in to view saved carts, saved Design Studio drafts, quotations or orders through that account.
What will be deleted
After we verify the request, we will delete or de-identify personal information OZUF no longer needs, including:
- your My OZUF login and account access;
- profile information OZUF no longer needs;
- saved carts and saved Design Studio drafts;
- marketing preferences and subscriptions; and
- support content, attachments and warranty photographs that are not required for an order, warranty, safety, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting or legal purpose.
What we may need to keep
We may retain limited records where required by law or reasonably needed for an active business or legal purpose:
- orders, invoices, transaction and tax records for at least five years;
- information needed for an active delivery, installation, return, warranty, consumer-guarantee, safety, fraud-prevention or legal matter;
- relevant warranty, safety, complaint and dispute records for up to seven years after final resolution where reasonably needed; and
- a minimal record of the deletion request and its completion for two years.
Retained information is restricted to those purposes and is not used for marketing.
What happens next
- Submit the form using the email address on your My OZUF account.
- We will email an acknowledgement and may ask you to confirm the request from that registered address. We will never ask for your password.
- We will complete deletion within 30 calendar days after identity verification. If an active legal or safety matter requires more time, we will explain why and give you an updated timeframe.
- We will email you when deletion is complete.
If you cannot access the registered email address, explain this in the optional details field. We will use a proportionate alternative identity check.
